Sam Watson has passed away. It’s a sad sad day for the Brisbane community but we can celebrate all the amazing achievements Sam made and the struggles he was involved in.
I interviewed him many times at 4ZZZ. Especially about deaths in custody and the police murder of Mulrunji Doomadgee. He was solid as.
His spirit is now free with his Ancestors. Much love to his family and friends at this sad time. Below is a statement from his family.
